So, here goes nothing:

I guess i am doing this, to kind of get my thoughts out of my head, and down where i, and others can see and discuss them. Hopefully others will join in the discourse, and we all can learn something. Or, maybe im just a narcissistic asshole, who only wants to see my thoughts on paper, you decide.

So, who am I? Well, technically, aren't we all trying to answer that question, on way or another? Simply put, I am a 50 year old, gay white male, living in Southern California. Now, you might be wondering about the title of my blog. Well, to put it bluntly, I am one of the rare "conservative gays" that you hear about, but never really see. Why are "we"a rare breed? Is it because there aren't many of  us? Nah, I don't believe so. I think the reason you don't see much of "my ilk" is because those in the media prefer to focus their attention on those in the gay communithy who fit their "stereotypes". Now, do I have any factual data to support my beliefs? Nope, I am simply stating my opinion, and that I why I am creating this blog. As I go on, I hope to give more insight into where my core beliefs started. Maybe by doing this, i will solidify my stance, then again, who knows, maybe I will see what I thought, was nothing but a load of crap that is irrelevant in the current times.
